He was born Feb. 16, 1950, in Louisville, Ky., a son of Willard Dean and Mary Elizabeth Kennison Stambaugh.
Surviving are one sister, Patricia (and Mark) Lund of Astoria; two brothers, John (and Brenda) Stambaugh and Jack (and Lily) Stambaugh, both of Browning; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; lifelong companion, LuAnn Schisler; two brothers, Carrol and Jimmy Stambaugh; and three sisters, Mary Jewel, Joyce and Samantha Stambaugh.
He was a carpenter and worked with his brothers, Stambaugh Brothers Construction, for most of his life.
A graveside service was held Tuesday in the South Fulton Cemetery in Astoria with Bob Spencer officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
