Sandra S. Spangler, 62, of Table Grove died at 11:14 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at her home.
She was born July 7, 1943, in McDonough County, a daughter of Eldon and Frances A. Smith Kendrick. She married Bernard Spangler on Oct. 31, 1975. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Scottie Kendrick; and one sister, Connie Chenoweth.
Surviving are one son, Wesley Brent Spangler of Table Grove; one daughter, Brenda (and Randy) Stambaugh of Astoria; three stepsons, Roy (and Lynn) Spangler of Bernadotte, Dennis (and Laura) Spangler of Prairie City and Gary Spangler; two stepdaughters, Donna (and John) Hollingsworth of Donaldson, Iowa, and Sue Siders of Canton; five brothers, Bob (and Luan) Kendrick of Table Grove, Lonnie (and Sandra Ann) Kendrick of Roseville, Danny (and Barb) Kendrick and Larry (and Lisa) Kendrick, both of Vermont, and John (and Debbie) Kendrick of Industry; one sister, Juanita (and David) Hammack of Astoria; and two grandchildren.
She worked at Astoria Fibra-Steel, McGraw Edison in Macomb, KenRay Foundry in Vermont and Adair Cafe. She worked for 22 years in food service at Western Illinois University.
Services were held Saturday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Reggie Stambaugh officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery in rural Table Grove.
Memorials may be made to the Table Grove Fire and Rescue Squad or the McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program.
