MICHAEL A. STELL

Michael Stell

Michael A. Stell, 72, of Ripley, formerly of Cuba, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born May 11, 1930, in Cuba, a son of William and Pauline Vincent Stell. He married Norma Bowman. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Pat (and Patty) Bowman Stell of Ripley and Thomas (and Tonya) Stell of Astoria; three daughters, Dottie (and Monte) Maxwell of Beardstown, Pamela (and Manual) Pineda of Jacksonville, Fla., and Melanie (and Danny) Martin of Rushville; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Bowman; one grandchild; two sisters; and one brother.

He attended Cuba schools.

He was a self-employed carpenter and roofer for more than 40 years.

Private family services were held. Burial was in Ripley Cemetery. Hendricker Funeral Home in Mount Sterling was in charge of arrangements.
