Michael Lee Bowman, 39, of Quincy, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1996, in his home.
He was born in Beardstown June 20, 1956, a son of Norma and Mike Stell.
Survivors include his parents of Ripley; his maternal grandmother, Dorotha Bowman of Ripley; two brothers, Patrick Bowman of Ripley and Thomas Stell of Astoria; and three sisters, Mrs. Monte (Dottie) Maxwell of Beardstown, Mrs. Manuel (Pamela) Pineda of Oakley, Calif., and Mrs. Danny (Melanie) Martin of Mt. Sterling.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; his maternal grandfather; and a longtime companion, Steve “Wally” Walbring.
Mr. Bowman was employed by the Hannibal Regional Center.
Memorial services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy with Rev. Lynn Smith-Roberts officiating. The body was cremated. Private inurnment will be held at a later date in Ripley Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
