Florence M. Scrogum, 100, of Astoria, formerly of Summum, died at 1:45 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2002, at Astoria Manor.
She was born May 5, 1902, in Pleasant Township, a daughter of Benjamin and Etta Carter Scrogum.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She had been the Summum postmistress for 38 years, retiring in 1973.
She was a member of Summum Christian Church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at her church with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial will be in Summum Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
