Alice Snowden

Alice M. Snowden, 67, of Table Grove, died Thursday, July 22, 1999, at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb.

She was born Feb. 11, 1932, in Macomb, the daughter of Austin and Mary Helen Kutcher Reed. She married N. Devere Snowden on Sept. 23, 1951, in Macomb. He died Feb. 12, 1999.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jack Reed.

Surviving are two sons, Daniel D. Snowden of Iola, Wis.;, and David R. (Carla) Snowden of LaHarpe; one daughter, Mrs. Kerry (Rebecca) Nielsen of Table Grove; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard Earl Reed of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Kenneth Leon Reed of Galesburg.

She was a telephone operator in Macomb from 1949-1950 and office manager for Snowden Insurance from 1976-1992.

She was a member of the Vermont PEO, Table Grove Development Group, Fulton County Youth Council and the Spoon River Scenic Drive Committee.

She was a member of Table Grove Community Church, where services were held Monday with Rev. Tim Ashley officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery in Table Grove. Kost Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
