Laura Louise Steele, 76, of Mesa, Ariz., died Saturday, July 3, 1999.
She was born April 13, 1923, in Decatur, a daughter of Forrest and Bonnie Easley.
She is survived by one son, Marvin L. Steele Jr. of Hager City, Wis., seven daughters, Bonnie Hendee, Joan Radke, Fran Kovacs, all of Hastings, Minn., Geri Crane of Piedmont, S.C., Donna Goulette and Barbara Miller of Mesa, Ariz., and Jacalyn Laska of Brook Park, Minn.; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one brother, Forrest Easley of Ipava; two sisters, Nora Abernathy of Vermont and Charolette Baumgardner of Galesburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held July 12, 1999, in the Vermont Cemetery.
