Mildred B. Shields, 92, of Summum, died at 1:25 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 1999, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born July 7, 1907, in Fulton County, the daughter of Cleve and Carrie E. Lockard Huff. She married Ralph Homer Shields on Jan. 14, 1925, in Havana. He died Dec. 8, 1976.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Mary Lou) Long of Rushville.
She was a member of Summum Christian Church, the U Go I Go Club and the Astoria Pythian Sisters Lodge.
Services were held at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Brian Culver officiating. Burial was in Summum Cemetery.
