Mary E. Stone, 70, of rural Browning died at 7:27 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 1990 at Snyder’s Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville.
She was born June 18, 1920, in Frederick, a daughter of Frank and Minnie Utter Egbert. She married John Stone on June 8, 1941, in Palmyra, Mo. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Judy) Nation of Laomi and Sue Stone Rexroat of Macomb; one brother, George Egbert of Eureka Springs, Ark.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one brother.
She was a member of the Browning Christian Church.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Roby Funeral Chapel in Rushville with Rev. Ted Shirley officiating. Burial will be in Rushville Cemetery.
