Laura L. Sims, 82, of 611 Joan Ave., Peoria, died at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 1990, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 25, 1908, in Vermont, a daughter of Joseph A. and Michel E. Cook Miles. She married Richard G. Sims in Bloomington. He died in November 1964.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
Surviving are one brother, Lester C. Miles of McAllen, Texas; and two sisters, Ernestine Ingels of Vermont and Helen “Hope” Ryan of Peoria.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon at Wilton Mortuary with Rev. Larry Kirk officiating. Burial was in Springdale Cemetery.
