Ernestine Doris Ingles, 90, of Vermont died at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at Livingston Manor in Pontiac, where she was a resident.
She was born March 19, 1912, in Vermont, a daughter of Joseph and Michel Cook Miles. She married George E. Ingles on May 29, 1939. He died Sept. 29, 1977.
She also was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.
Surviving are one son, Michael (and Dee) of Pontiac; and two grandsons.
She was an active member of the Vermont Women's Club, Rebekah Lodge and the Vermont American Legion Auxiliary.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church, where services were held Sunday with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to her church or Livingston Manor.
