Jesse A. Smith, 79, of Clarytona Manor Nursing Home in Lewistown, formerly of Marietta, died about 1:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1980, at Clarytona Manor.
He was born Jan. 31, 1901, in Fulton County, a son of Fred and Lucy Beatty Smith.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Corda Smith of Summum, Mrs. Bessie Welker of Havana and Mrs. Artha Cox of Creve Coeur; and one brother, Loren Smith of Jacksonville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Larry Manship officiating. Burial will be in the Summum Cemetery.
Friends may call at Shawgo’s Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
