Fred E. Simpson Of Macomb Dies

Fred Earl Simpson, 63, of rural Macomb, died Saturday, Apr. 2, 1977, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

He was born Oct. 23, 1913, in Huntsville, the son of Fred and Bessie Black Simpson. He was married to Dorethy France in Lewistown Oct. 23, 1935. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Barbara) Beers of Quincy and Mrs. Richard (Joyce) Lewallen of Marietta; five sisters, Mrs. Robert Beck of Astoria, Mrs. Clarence Osar and Mrs. John Cox of Peoria, Mrs. Roy Schuman of Aurora, Colo., and Mrs. Dalbert Smith of Lewistown; one brother, Lloyd of Longmont, Colo., and six grandchildren.

He was a member of the Methodist Church and a retired farmer.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Wilbur Payne officiating. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery.
