Former Astoria Resident Dies In Sciotoville, Ohio

Mrs. Gladys (Schisler) Bonzo, of Marion, Ohio, writes that her mother, Mrs. Minerva (Kelley) Schisler, aged 86 years, died Saturday morning at a nursing home in Sciotoville, Ohio. She had been in poor health for some time.

The body arrived in Astoria Tuesday and funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m., at the Horton residence by Rev. Fred Thompson. Burial in South Fulton cemetery.

A former Astorian, Mrs. Schisler is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bonzo of Marion, Ohio, and Mrs. Mayme Dorman of Sciotoville, Ohio and a son, Glen Schisler of Peoria.

[Laura's note: Her maiden name may have actually been spelled "Kelly" - the obituaries of sons Harvey and Glen seem to indicate this. But her husband's obit also spells it "Kelley".]
