Mrs. Gladys M. Schisler Bonzo, 72, died Sunday, May 23, at Marion, Ohio General Hospital following an apparent heart attack. She had been a resident of that city since 1945.
She was born August 8, 1898 in Astoria to John and Minerva (Kelley) Schisler. She was first married to Charles Skillman of Canton. He died in 1932. She married John Bonzo on December 31, 1945 in Sciotoville, Ohio. He survives.
Also surviving are a son, Richard Skillman and a grandson of Marion, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. Mame Dorman of Cincinnati, Ohio. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of Oak Knoll Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held in Marion and burial was in Caledonia Cemetery, Marion, Ohio.
