Mrs. Nellie Sales Dies In Peoria

Mrs. Nellie May Sales died Thursday in the Methodist hospital in Peoria, after an illness of several days.

She was born Dec. 23, 1882, in Iowa, a daughter of Samuel and Christina (Danner) Bollinger. She was married to Fred Sales, who preceded her in death several years ago. Mrs. Sales was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Peoria.

Surviving are five children: Harold Sales, and George Sales of Peoria; Mrs. Maxine Cook, Ray; Mrs. Opal Lind, Bader, and Mrs. Wilma Thompson of Astoria; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Aaron Bollinger and Mrs. Beulah Trone both of Astoria, Benton Bollinger, Chicago; Lossie Bollinger and Mrs. Elva Bates both of Browning, and Forrest Bollinger, Peoria.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon in the Astoria Church of the Brethren, by the Rev. Medford Neher, of Peoria. Burial was in South Fulton cemetery.
