Danny Wayne “Pic” Richey, 58, of Vermont died at 8:10 a.m. April 6, 2022, at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1963, in Rushville, a son of Willard and Elizabeth M. Lashbrook Richey.
Surviving are his parents of Vermont; four sisters, Marilyn (and Mike) Krominga of Pontiac, Kathy Henry of Astoria, Rita (and Keith) Treadwell of New Lebanon, Ohio, and Willa Richey of Ipava.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Lashbrook; two brothers, Randy Richey and another who died in infancy.
He attended VIT School through his freshman year. He was employed at the Vermont Foundry and was a carpenter and handyman.
Cremation has been accorded. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements. No services are scheduled at this time.
