He was born June 29, 1968, in Rushville, the son of Jennus “Junior” and Dorothy Clayton Reische. He married Brenda Self on Aug. 6, 1989, in Beardstown. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2007.
Surviving are his mother, Dorothy Reische of Springfield; two daughters, Kelsey (and Isaiah) Harms of Quincy and Katherine Reische of Rushville; one sister, Stephanie Smedly of Petersburg; two grandchildren; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He graduated from Rushville High School with the class of 1986 and attended Quincy University. He enjoyed coaching softball, “tinkering” and working on machines.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery.
