She was born October 27, 1969, in Rushville, a daughter of James Sr. and Patsy Bollinger Self. She married Scott Reische on Aug. 6, 1988, in Beardstown. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kelsey and Katie, at home; maternal grandmother, Mildred Bollinger of Beardstown; one brother, James Jr. (and Sandy) of Medina, Ohio; one sister, Pam (and John) Gaines of Concord.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
She graduated from Beardstown High School in 1987 and was attending Western Illinois University. She worked for Norman Hood Financial Services for over 20 years and as an information technician and computer programmer at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
Funeral services were held Tuesday with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
