Robert RoudebushRobert Lee Roudebush, 90, of Rushville died at 6 p.m. Aug. 23, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 5, 1923, in Ray, a son of Alva and Freeda M. Montooth Roudebush. He married Shirley Yocum on Oct. 25, 1947, in Galesburg. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Dana (and Beverly) Roudebush of Macomb; three daughters, Barbara (and Allen) Baker of Camden, Patty (and Steve) Ewing of Springfield and Alice (and Norman) Hood of Rushville; two sisters, Louise Agans of Rushville and Betty Bader of Morrisonville, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one infant great-granddaughter, Gracie Sargent; one brother, Richard Roudebush; and one sister, Geraldine Toland.

He was a member and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church of Versailles.

He was a lifelong farmer, and after retirement drove a school bus for Schuyler School District #1 for many years.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Greg Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Versailles or Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice.
