She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Kilbourne, a daughter of John and Mabel Gregory Cooper. She married Frank Richardson on Aug. 27, 1942, in Astoria. He preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 2005.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce McCombs; two sisters, Judith Matthews and Dorothy Coombes; and one brother, John Cooper Jr.
Surviving are one son, Larry (and Sue) Richardson of Springfield; two sisters, Aileen (and Baxter) Brandon of Fountain Green and Maurine (and Raymond) Schisler of Lewistown; and four grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and farmwife. She was the sales representative for Fuller Brush for over 40 years. For several years, she worked as an election official for Browning Township.
Services will be held Saturday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Robert Einhouse officiating. Burial will follow in Browning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
