Pauline Reedy

Pauline Reedy, 87, of Lewistown died at 10:29 a.m. Oct. 10, 2010, in Canton.

She was born June 6, 1923, in Frederick, a daughter of Harry and Edith Taylor Jones. She married Dean Reedy on Nov. 30, 1942, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1996.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Terry Reedy; one daughter, Mary White; one great-granddaughter, Haley Reedy; one sister, Freida Parks; and two brothers, Kenneth and Paul Jones.

Surviving are one son, Kenneth Reedy of Decatur; two daughters, Patty Maloney of Marietta and Peggy (and Bob) Shaw of Lewistown; one half-brother, Dick Jones of Arizona; one half-sister, Deloris French of Beardstown; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Lewistown Rescue Squad.
