DEAN EDGAR REEDY

Dean Edgar Reedy, 74, of Macomb, died at 7:22 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 1996, at Argyle Lake Nursing Center in Colchester.

He was born Sept. 22, 1922, in Table Grove, a son of Glen and Ethel Skein Reedy. He married Pauline Jones on Nov. 30, 1942, in Wayland, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Ken Reedy of Colchester and Terry Reedy of Ipava; two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Peggy) Shaw of Lewistown and Patty Maloney of Marietta; one sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Walker of Table Grove; 14 grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Mary White, and one brother preceded him in death.

A World War II Navy veteran, he was a life member of Macomb Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1921 and Table Grove American Legion Post 413. He worked on farms in the Table Grove area.

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Rev. Ralph Swarthout officiating. Calling hours will be after noon Thursday at the mortuary, with the family present one hour before the service. Military rites will be accorded by his American Legion post at the mortuary.
