Wayne RieblingWayne S. Riebling, 92, of Crescent City, Fla., died Nov. 2, 2009, at Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka, Fla.

He was born July 11, 1917, in Astoria, a son of Carl and Lilly Stanbaugh Riebling. He married Phyllis L. Riebling. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Sheila (and Michael) Klingensmith of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; two brothers, Lyle (and June) Riebling of Lake Mary, Fla., and Max (and Betty) Riebling of Arkansas; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a Master Chief Aviation Ordnanceman. He retired after 30 years of faithful service.

He was a member of Moose Lodge of Crescent City #1641, VFW-Milton, Delaware, American Legion and Fleet Reserve, both in Florida.

Full military honors will be bestowed by the U.S. Navy Simplicity.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., San Mateo, Fla.
