Elsie Lorene Robinson, 96, of Rushville died at 3:15 a.m. Sept. 11, 2009, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 27, 1913, in Cass County, the daughter of Frank and Nicholena Jane McAllister Summers. She married Rev. Oscar R. Robinson on March 30, 1932, in Littleton. He died Feb. 22, 1983.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Robinson and Raymond Robinson; and one daughter, Lucille Utter.
Surviving are one daughter, Joan (and Norman) Cox of Galesburg; two brothers, Richard (and Shirley) Robinson and Marvin (and Kitty) Robinson, both of Astoria; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of East Union Baptist Church, Rushville Assembly of God Church and Camden United Methodist Women.
Services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. Patrick Clements officiating. Burial was in Messerer Cemetery.
