Larry D. Ratcliff, 37, of Havana, formerly of Astoria, died at 10:10 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 1985, at Mason District Hospital in Havana where he was taken after choking on a piece of food at a restaurant.
He was born Oct. 12, 1947, in Canton, a son of Lyle and Anna Hopping Ratcliff.
Survivors include his parents, of rural Astoria; one brother, Dennis Ratcliff, of rural Astoria; three nieces and one nephew.
He was a self-employed carpenter and electrician, veteran of Viet Nam serving in the Army and member of Havana Post 6408 VFW.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. this afternoon at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Rev. James Comstock of Astoria officiating. Burial will be in the Hickory Cemetery near Enion.
