Mrs. Alta Riebling Dies At Age 67

Mrs. Alta M. Riebling, 67, Astoria, died in Culbertson Hospital in Rushville Wednesday night, Aug. 21, following several years of illness. She lived most of her life in Fulton and McDonough County.

Mrs. Riebling was born Feb. 9, 1910, in Browning Township, a daughter of Henry and Essie Skiles Trone. She was married to Freeman T. Riebling on June 13, 1922 and he survives.

She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church of Astoria.

She is also survived by two sons, Freddie Riebling, Industry; Eddie Riebling, Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Norris, Astoria; Mrs. Joyce Gentry, Washington, Ill.; five brothers, Lloyd and Francis Trone, both of Beardstown; Dewey and Harold Trone, both of Bardolph; Perry Trone, Rock Island; one sister, Faye Cox, Browning; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the E. U. M. Church in Astoria with Rev. Fines Main officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
