David ParsanoDavid L. Parsano, 73, of Adair died at 6:10 a.m. Dec. 9, 2020, in rural Adair.

He was born Feb. 21, 1947, in Macomb, a son of Herbert and Vera Ogden Parsano. He married Cheryl Parry on June 25, 1970, in Rushville. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Sonya (and Daniel) Duke of Hodges, Ala., and Lisa (and Craig) Rice of Industry; one son, Eric (and Lesa) Parsano of Canton; four brothers, Gerald Parsano of Atwood and Leo (and Paula) Parsano, Ronald (and Melinda) Parsano and Donald Parsano, all of Vermont; one sister, Brenda (and George) Hite of Industry; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Bottens; and one brother, Michael Parsano.

He worked for NTN Bower in Macomb for 44 years, retiring in 2014.

He was an Army veteran, serving from 1968-73 in Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

He was a member of Vermont American Legion.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
