Vera Ione Parsano, 81, of Vermont, died at 12:09 a.m. Monday, March 25, 1996, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born April 15, 1914, in Isabel Township, Fulton County, the daughter of Elmer and Nellie Brophy Ogden. She married Herbert H. Parsano on Aug. 2, 1934, in Rushville. He died Aug. 13, 1988. One son, Michael, one brother and one granddaughter also preceded her in death.
Surviving are five sons, Gerald Parsano of Atwood, Leo Parsano, Ronald Parsano and Donald Parsano, all of Vermont, and David Parsano of Adair; two daughters, Donna Bottens of Versailles and Brenda Hite of Industry; 24 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church, where services were held this morning with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating.
Kost Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
