He was born Aug. 25, 1967, in Rushville, a son of William K. “Willy” and Judy Campbell Park. He first married Kandi Shults on Feb. 14, 1987. They had three children, Brandon Park, Britny Park (and fiancée Chris Daniel) and Brianna Park, all of Beardstown. He married Salina Carr on Nov. 22, 1997. They are the parents of a son, Bryce Park of Rushville.
Also surviving are his mother, Judy Park of Rushville; grandmother, Christine Agans of Rushville; one brother, Richard “Rick” (and Susan) Park of Rushville; and one grandson, Abel Daniel of Beardstown.
He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, William “Ballpark” Park Jr. and Harold Park.
He was a 1985 graduate of Rushville High School and received an Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal from Robert Morris College in Carthage. He worked for Jim Wheelhouse Construction, Harry Thomas Construction and was in charge of the fuel fleet at Triad Mining.
He was a member of the Rushville Moose Lodge #506, the Beer Can Collectors Club, and attended Rushville Church of the Nazarene. He was a drummer in many bands, the last being Gun Highway.
Services were held Tuesday at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend Fred Fritz officiating. Burial was in the Rushville City Cemetery.
