She was born July 1, 1970, in Pekin, a daughter of James D. and Sharon L. Edwards Shults. She married Monte Park on Feb. 14, 1987.
Surviving are her boyfriend, Travis Pate of Beardstown; children, Britny (and Chris) Daniel, Harley Pate and Davidson Pate, all of Beardstown and Brandon (and girlfriend Jessie) Park and Brianna (and fiancé Kyle) Park, both of Arenzville; her mother, Sharon (and Duane) Davis of Rushville; her father, James (and companion Brenda) Shults of Rushville; three sisters, Shari (and Russell) Marquis of Rushville, Angie (and Dewayne) Jockisch of Vermont and Sherri (and Joe) Perry of Beardstown; three brothers, Steve (and Karen) Davis of Astoria, Scott (and Michelle) Shults of Industry and Jason (and Susan) Davis of Macomb; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Monte Park; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
She graduated from Rushville High School in the class of 1988 and later obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant Degree from Lincoln Land Community College. She worked in construction for E and L Siding and Remodeling in Beardstown and WIRC in Springfield, and was working at Heritage Health in Beardstown before her health problems.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family inurnment was held at Rushville City Cemetery. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown was in charge of arrangements.
