She was born April 8, 1925, the daughter of Raymond and Verneana Davis Trimpe. She married Gale “Max” Prather on Jan. 19, 1957, in Havana. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2000.
Surviving are one son, Mark (and Patty) Prather of Rushville; one daughter, Nancy (and Steve) LeMaster of Littleton; one brother, Larry Trimpe of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren.
She graduated in 1947 from Graham Hospital School of Nursing in Canton. She worked for nine years at Graham Hospital and 18 years at Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital before retiring on March 1, 1985.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Rushville.
Services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Joe Eckman officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
