Margaret Palmer, 92, of Vermont, died at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born June 4, 1907, near Vermont, a daughter of Charles and Harriet Cash Mercer. She married Eugene Palmer. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one sister.
Surviving is one sister, Neva Mercer of Vermont.
She was a teacher in Vermont and Oak Park.
Cremation has been accorded and graveside services were held Friday at Vermont Cemetery with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Kost Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
