Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Palmer received word of the death of their daughter-in-law Walli Palmer, of Freiburg, Germany. She was married to Victor (Herbert) Palmer. Herbert passed away Oct. 25, 1989. They have resided in Germany since 1969.
Walli was known by many people of Astoria as she resided in Astoria while Herbert was serving the Armed Forces in Japan. She was employed by Cecil and Evelyn Batterton who operated a restaurant at that time.
