Marjorie Plowman Dies On Feb 28

Mrs. Marjorie Plowman, 62, of Birds, formerly of Macomb and Astoria, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1982, in the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.

She was born Mar. 30, 1919, in Astoria, the daughter of Lewis and Nellie Zettles Derry. She married John T. Plowman. He survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Chuck and Marlin, both of Detroit, Mich., and Paul of Birds; three daughters, Georgia Frey of Pinkstaff, Marilyn Burling of Detroit, Mich., and Marville Breen of Taylor, Mich.; 30 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Marville Foster, Grace Bainter and Isla Duffy, all of Macomb and Frances Rowland of Orion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Johnny Lee; one daughter, Lois Swartz; two sisters, Henrietta Williams and Ruth Brown; and two brothers, Homer and Freeman Derry.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Mar. 3.
