Mrs. Mary Ellen Page Dies At Vermont

Mrs. Mary Ellen Page died at the residence in Vermont at 4:45 p.m. Thursday. Mrs. Page, who lived with her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Page, had suffered a stroke Saturday.

Mrs. Page was born July 22, 1863 near Astoria to William and Anna Schisler Castle, and married Henry Harrison Page June 7, 1886. He died Sept. 18, 1921. Mrs. Page was a member of Crescent Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are the son; a sister, Mrs. Anna Miller of Astoria; a grandson whom the Pages reared, John Page Atkinson of Quincy, and two great-granddaughters. A daughter is deceased.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Homer Page residence, the Rev. Ira K. Hall officiating. Burial in Vermont cemetery.
