She was born July 20, 1957, in Rushville, a daughter of Maurice R. “Woody” and Barbara Jean Keith Phillips. She married Steve O’Hara on Sept. 16, 1978, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Nicole (and Aaron) Roegge of Arenzville; one sister, Cindy (and Rick) Shaw of Rushville; one brother, Brian Phillips of Rushville; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a 1975 graduate of Rushville High School. She first worked at various restaurants in Rushville. She worked many years in food service for the Rushville/Industry School District, retiring in 2013.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with David Haney officiating. Burial will follow in the Palm Cemetery, west of Rushville. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
