She was born Oct. 11, 1935, in Astoria, a daughter of Floyd and Dorothy Lockard Burriss. She married Carroll Oliver in 1954.
Surviving are one son, Kevin (and Rita) Oliver of Canton; two daughters, Kim Waddell of Canton and Keena (and Mike) Coffey of Norris; one brother, Floyd "Buddy" Burriss Jr. of Wooster, Ohio; five sisters, Ann Klinedinst of Canton and Donna Moore, Jane Daugherty, Barb Large and Cheryl Hackworth, all of Wooster, Ohio; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Burriss and Sandy Deeds.
She did data entry for Illinois Department of Human Services. She also drove a school bus for Farmington Community Unit School District.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Brandon Llewellyn officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
Memorials may be made to Graham Hospital Hospice Program.
