Annalee KlinedinstAnnalee Burriss Klinedinst died Feb. 20, 2022, at Red Oak Memory Care in Canton.

She was born in Astoria, to Floyd and Dorothy Lockard Burriss on Jan. 21, 1937. Dorothy later married Blaine Hopping, who together raised Ann. She married Forrest Klinedinst on April 2, 1955, in Summum. He preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 1977.

She also was preceded in death by one sister, Kathryn Oliver of Canton; special friend, Charles Curtis Myers of Astoria; and two half sisters, Sandy Deeds and Judy Burriss, both of Wooster, Ohio.

Surviving are three children, Randy (and Samantha) Klinedinst, Tammy (and Kevin) Kessler and Rick (and Janet) Klinedinst, all of Canton; one half brother, Buddy Burriss; four half sisters, Donna Moore, Jane Daughtery, Barbara (and Eugene) Large and Cheryl (and Chuck) Hackworth, all of Wooster, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and 11 loving great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Astoria High School in 1954. She attended Spoon River College and began working for Mildred Nagle Accounting Services. She later worked at Graham Hospital in the Medical Records Department until her retirement in 2000.

She was a member of Woodland Church of the Brethren in Astoria and most recently attended Canton Church of the Brethren.

The family will hold a private funeral service later in the week. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
