WILLIAM DARON “B” OGDEN

William Ogden

William D. "B" Ogden, 37, of Lewistown was pronounced dead at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2001, at Marbletown Road, 1/2-mile south of U.S. Route 24 near Havana.

He died after being thrown from his motorcycle when a deer ran into his path.

He was born Dec. 27, 1963, in Havana, a son of William H. and Connie Curless Ogden. He married Kris Young on May 9, 1998, in Havana. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents of Havana; two daughters, Samantha Parish and Heather Ogden, both at home; one sister, Darla (and John) Boo of Lewistown; one brother, Jody (and Beckey) of Havana; and his grandparents, Charlotte McGinnis of Havana and Harold and Leona Ogden of Lewistown.

He was a truck driver for Ryder Co. and also worked for Isabel Township.

Services were held today at 2 p.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Tim Worstell officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for his daughters established at Ipava State Bank, Astoria Branch.
