ORANGE OSBORNE

Aged Astoria Resident Dies

Orange Osborne, a well known resident, died at his home in the northeast part of town this morning at 4 o'clock, aged 81 years and nine months.

Mr. Osborne was born near Bluff City, a son of James and Margaret McGowen Osborne. He was united in marriage to Della Butler in December, 1888. To this union seven children were born, all of whom, together with the widow, survive. The children are: Mrs. Blanch Dixon of near Sheldons Grove; Mrs. Iva Eksstrom of North Platte, Nebr.; Squire Osborne of Bluff City; Mrs. Hazel Kreiner of Burlington, Iowa; Mrs. Margaret Varner, Barberton, Ohio; Mrs. Marguerite Raines of Barberton, Ohio, and Mrs. Kathryn Austin of St. Helens, Ore. Also one sister, Mrs. Iva Fouts of Burlington, Iowa, fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

As we go to press funeral arrangements are incomplete. We can say, however, the funeral will be held at the Shawgo Memorial Home, and burial at Bluff City cemetery.
