Jonathan P. Nielsen, 32, of Macomb died at 9:20 p.m. Dec. 7, 2017, in Peoria.
He was born June 17, 1985, in Peoria, the son of Kerry and Rebecca Snowden Nielsen.
Surviving are his parents; one son, Jaron of Ipava; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J. Price and Marjorie Nielsen; and his maternal grandparents, Devere and Alice Snowden.
He graduated from VIT Junior/Senior High School in 2004 and worked various jobs throughout his life.
There will be no services. His family asks that those who knew him take a moment to remember who he was before addiction became a part of his life. Inurnment will be at a later date. Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
