Ronald E. "J.R." Meyer, 33, of rural Browning died at 9:15 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born May 20, 1968, in Rushville, a son of Ronald E. Sr. and Edith Mathis Meyer.
Surviving are his mother, Edie (and Terry) Buckalew of Browning; his grandmother, Verna Mathis of Browning; one brother, Jason (and Michele) of Rushville; and two sisters, Stephania Meyer of Browning and Lacy Meyer of Rushville.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
He worked for Kimbro Farms.
Services were held Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Dixie Croxton officiating. Burial was in Browning Cemetery.
