Mary Belle Mummert, 87, of Astoria died at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born June 17, 1912, in Plainfield, N.J., a daughter of Robert D. and Carrie T. Taylor Robertson. She married DeVere Mummert on June 13, 1930, in Glendale, Calif.
Surviving are three sons, Robert (and Loretta) of Astoria, Jon (and Cindy) of Browning and James (and Marti) of Riverside, Calif.; eight grandchildren and; 11 great-grandchildren.
One sister preceded her in death.
She was a secretary for a law firm in Springfield and was an editor for a Springfield publishing company.
She was a member of Astoria Christian Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at her church with Gary Sheets officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Astoria Rescue Squad.
