Pat L. Maxwell, 46, of Carbondale, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 1990, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 16, 1943, in Plain View, the daughter of Maurice and Elizabeth Nelson Davis. She married Buddy Maxwell on Aug. 16, 1968, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are her parents, Maurice and Elizabeth Davis of Beardstown; two daughters, Brenda Brewer of Heber Springs, Okla., and Julie Frank of Beardstown; one grandson, Ryan Herter, who resided in the Maxwell home; one granddaughter, Heather Frank of Beardstown; one brother, Dick Davis of Astoria; and one sister, Carol Sue Greer of Littleton.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carbondale where she served on the Board of Trustees and was Church Secretary until May of 1989.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Friday at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale with Rev. Bob Noblette officiating. Additional services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cline Funeral Home in Beardstown with Rev. Marshall Ervin officiating. Burial was in the Rushville City Cemetery.
