Harry A. Morse Dies In CantonHarry A. Morse Dies In CantonHarry A. Morse, 91, of Ipava, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, 1980, at Sunset Nursing Home in Canton.
Mr. Morse was born Sept. 30, 1888, in Clinton, the son of Austin R. and Mary McClimans Morse. He married Cora Jones on Feb. 14, 1918 in Astoria.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Robert and Philip, both of Canton; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Largent of Canton; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Stella Fink of Clinton and Miss Lena Morse of Browning.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
He was a retired farmer and veteran of WW I. He was an elder in the Summum Christian Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Summum Christian Church, Collis Trone and Chuck Clark officiating. Burial was in Summum Cemetery.
