Roy Lee Marquis, 66, died about 10:40 a.m. Saturday in his home in Astoria. He had resided his entire life in Fulton and Schuyler Counties.
Mr. Marquis was born April 12, 1897 in Schuyler County, a son of James and Catherine Lau Marquis. He had never married.
He was a retired former commercial fisherman and coal miner.
There are no immediate survivors. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with the Rev. H. L. Leu officiating. Burial was in the Astoria cemetery.
