He was born Dec. 18, 1958, in Galesburg, a son of Merle and Harriet Brooks Lewis.
Surviving are three sisters, Beverly (and Jerry) Chidester of Fairmount, Ind., Annie (and Gale) Beekman of Ipava and Chris (and Vern) Wall of Galesburg.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Lewis and Bob Brooks.
He was baptized in Summum Christian Church.
Cremation rights have been accorded. Graveside services were held Saturday at Summum Cemetery with Pastor Darrin Fish officiating.
