She was born March 25, 1956, a daughter of Elmer Lewis and DeLores “Mae” Dober Lawver, formerly of Astoria. She married Ronald Ludwig on Jan. 3, 1987, in St. Petersburg, Fla. He survives.
Also surviving are two stepsons, Ronnie and Kevin Ludwig; one stepdaughter, Carla; her father, Elmer Lewis Lawver of Pekin; three sisters, Darlene Westlake of Astoria, Crystal (and Allen) Welker of Vermont and Carla (and Steve) Poppenhager of Industry; and one stepbrother, Kenny Sharp of Manito.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Allen Lawver at birth; her mother, DeLores “Mae” Lawver; one stepbrother, Vernnel Sharp; one sister, Rhode Lee Lawver; and stepmother, Norma Sharp Lawver.
She attended Astoria Community Grade School and Limestone High School in Peoria.
She was a heavy equipment operator out of Local 649 in Peoria for 28 years.
She liked trapshooting and fishing.
Cremation rites have been accorded. At a later date this year, she will be laid to rest at Astoria Cemetery. At that time, a private family service will be held.
