Lloyd E. Leezer Sr., 65, of Lewistown, died at 3:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
He was born March 28, 1932, in Rushville, a son of Freeman and Fairy Settles Leezer. He married Maxine Cox in Astoria on Oct. 28, 1950. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Fairy Settles of Canton; one son, Lloyd Leezer Jr. of Peoria; two daughters, Martha Bergstralh and Marla Hedden, both of Canton; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Dry of Canton.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
He worked for Caterpillar in East Peoria for 32 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of CAT Local #974, Canton Moose Lodge #784, and Just Us Line Dancers.
Services were held Tuesday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home with Rev. Layton Malone officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
